The huckleberries were prolific. Unfortunately, so were the rv users. It’s a shame that so much of the Dunes have been given to that. Otherwise a beautiful area.

Once again we had a nice time at this campground. It was a little busy this time but all in all a good time!

Great sites, plenty of room for camping and activities. The walk around the lake is easy for all ages. Definitely will be back.

The campsite was clean, quiet and pretty private, with bushes on either side. It's close to Horsfall Beach and Coos Bay. For some reason I had almost no mobile data signal, but that was ok cuz it kept me from looking at my phone too much.

Loved it! Quite! Away from the UTV chaos, in the woods with the birds. Miles of great walking only trails!

Some pretty raucous guests. Very loud, lots of profanity. I do believe they were living there

The woman that take care of campsite is very nice but her husband can be absolutely rude and disrespectful

They're not kidding about the mosquitos. We visited in August and had to keep ourselves well sprayed with repellent. Small, clean and quiet, and a great location near North Bend / Coos Bay. We could faintly hear OHVs in the distance until after midnight, but no OHVs are allowed in Bluebill so it wasn't an issue. We'll be back when the mosquitos are dead.

Great area, a little noisy from the dune buggy’s and the mosquitos carried off our dog, but great otherwise. (Dog was small and annoying so not a great loss, so we have mixed feelings about the mosquitos) Beach access is just 2 minutes away and the sunsets are spectacular if it’s clear.

The mosquitoes were awful, but other than that it was fine. The outhouse was clean and stocked with toilet paper. People didn't remember to put the lid down, so it was kind of ripe smelling but not too bad.

This campground is located in close proximity to multiple lakes and wetlands. Due to this, there can be an abundance of mosquitoes between the months of April and August. Please be prepared for this. |

There is a 14-day in 30 rolling days camping limit on the Siuslaw National Forest. The 14 days does not have to be consecutive. The 14-day limit covers the entire Siuslaw National Forest and not just this campground as shown in the Rules Section. This means you cannot go to other campgrounds on the Siuslaw National Forest after reaching the 14-day limit. |
