They're not kidding about the mosquitos. We visited in August and had to keep ourselves well sprayed with repellent. Small, clean and quiet, and a great location near North Bend / Coos Bay. We could faintly hear OHVs in the distance until after midnight, but no OHVs are allowed in Bluebill so it wasn't an issue. We'll be back when the mosquitos are dead.

Great area, a little noisy from the dune buggy’s and the mosquitos carried off our dog, but great otherwise. (Dog was small and annoying so not a great loss, so we have mixed feelings about the mosquitos) Beach access is just 2 minutes away and the sunsets are spectacular if it’s clear.

Great area, a little noisy from the dune buggy’s and the mosquitos carried off our dog, but great otherwise. (Dog was small and annoying so not a great loss, so we have mixed feelings about the mosquitos) Beach access is just 2 minutes away and the sunsets are spectacular if it’s clear.

The mosquitoes were awful, but other than that it was fine. The outhouse was clean and stocked with toilet paper. People didn't remember to put the lid down, so it was kind of ripe smelling but not too bad.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay...The sites we had were spacious and "private", very peaceful and relaxing.Our only complaint was that there were no Camp Hosts and nowhere close by to buy firewood.

It’s a beautiful area and a nice looking campground. People were very friendly there. We cut our visit short because the mosquitoes were terrible. The sites were a little overgrown and smaller than what was pictured on the website. 1 ft concrete columns lining the road, made it difficult to maneuver motorhomes into the site.

Theres a cute little snake that lives by the water spigot – he is my bestie. There were some mosquitos in mid-July but nothing crazy, I got bit once or twice. The beach was really windy and spooky.

Turn right onto Trans Pacific Lane and proceed for 1.1 mi to the intersection with Horsfall Beach Road. Turn right onto Horsfall Beach Road and proceed for 1.7 mi. At 1.7 mi, the campground entrance will be on the left.
From North Bend, Oregon, follow Highway 101 north for about 2 mi to the Horsfall Dunes and Beach road sign. Turn left onto Trans Pacific Lane and proceed for 1.1 mi to the intersection with Horsfall Beach Road. Turn right onto Horsfall Beach Road and proceed for 1.7 mi. At 1.7 mi, the campground entrance will be on the left.
Bluebill Campground is accessible via Highway 101, which is approximately 2 miles from North Bend and 22 miles from Reedsport.
