We especially liked the distance between the campsites. Great location, and the noise mentioned in several other reviews, considering the proximity of the sand dunes and the motor activities, was not an issue. In fact, if we had been there to ride the dunes, I still would prefer to camp in Bluebill, instead of the parking lot set-up of the other campgrounds that are next to the dunes.

This campsite was very nice, very clean, and very quiet. The only thing that would have made it a little better was if all the campsites were level. We were unfortunate to get a campsite with uneven ground and a big root in the only place to put a tent. We made it work but could have been more comfortable on a flat even surface. Other than that, the campsite was great!

No host but camp was quiet and clean. Camp raided by racoons -- sealed plastic containers on picnic table did not stop them.

The camp site was wonderful! I am, however, highly disappointed in my fellow campers. We reserved (by accident) 2 different camp sites. The one we wanted was taken by someone that obviously did not reserve it. We chose the non confrontational path and occupied the 2nd site which was full of trash from the previous campers. We had a neighbor in a trailer that felt the need to run his obnoxious generator from 5:30 until 10:15 when I finally went and banged on his camper and asked him to shut it off.
Again, great site, just need to clean up the residents!

Nice campground, private sites (where we were). No backflow preventer on their water system so you can’t hook a hose up to the spigots.

There is a 14-day in 30 rolling days camping limit on the Siuslaw National Forest. The 14 days does not have to be consecutive. The 14-day limit covers the entire Siuslaw National Forest and not just this campground as shown in the Rules Section. This means you cannot go to other campgrounds on the Siuslaw National Forest after reaching the 14-day limit. |
