Quick access to beach and dunes. Showers are included but close at 2pm. Limited to no cell service in campsite. The camp host Bill is a great guy. Knowledgeable and friendly.

Driftwood campground offers excellent dune access and a clean, quiet environment, making it a great spot for ATV enthusiasts and families. The camp host receives consistent praise for being friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. However, there are concerns about outdated facilities, particularly with limited shower hours and plumbing issues, which some visitors hope will be addressed in the future.

Most of the sinks in the bathrooms do not work there was no soap in the soap dispensers either. This park is very out of date and makes me wonder what the state of Oregon does with all of the lottery money that is supposed to go to state parks. Oregon is one of the must miss managed states in the US.

Camping was as to he expected from other reviews. Camp host was very nice. Showers open from 8am to 2pm. Don't understand why but that is the rule not set by Camp host. Grounds keeper was there cleaning up upon check in. Over all we had no issues.

The Oregon coast area is amazing, a most excellent place to visit!! Driftwood campground is a parking lot for trailers and the outer spots have fire pits to enjoy. If you can handle camping in a parking lot surrounded by the chaos of your neighbors noise and clutter it’s great to be able to access the dunes directly from the parking lot. The showers leave a lot to be desired but if you don’t mind long lines during busy weekends at least they’re free, not really clean, but free nonetheless…

The website was easy to navigate. It was quick and easy to make our reservations, easy to find campground and camp site map was accurate. We hadn't been there in a really long time (lived out of state) but we will definitely be coming back more often. It is so nice to be able to ride our ATV's in and out of camp and not have to load up and take them to a day use area. The only thing I wish could change would be having cellphone service, and the showers on for evening/night time rather than morning through the afternoon. But I'm not complaining because it's way better than no showers at all!
