Driftwood campground offers excellent dune access and a clean, quiet environment, making it a great spot for ATV enthusiasts and families. The camp host receives consistent praise for being friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. However, there are concerns about outdated facilities, particularly with limited shower hours and plumbing issues, which some visitors hope will be addressed in the future.

Excellent beach and dune access. Not as noisy as you would expect from a OHV staging area. No dump station or water; you must go to Honeyman CG. Camp host is very knowledgeable. Phone service goes from nothing to acceptable randomly (off hours are best).

We have been coming up to Driftwood ll campground from California for about 15 years. This year was 7 spots. Showers were closed because of the covid scare. Camp host told us to drive up to Hunnyman to shower. Why if this covid bs is so bad is Hunnyman’s showers open then? Think dude was just to lazy to clean the showers. Don’t feel we got our money’s worth this time.

Thoroughly enjoy using that campground happy to see the showers are now open that is a big plus I would really like to see a way to connect driftwood and lagoon as we have so much family that stays in both would be so much easier on everyone I don't see why there is not a trail between the 2 yet
