What Guests Are Saying
Horsfall Sand Camping offers a fun atmosphere, but access can be challenging. Many visitors struggled with the difficult road conditions and found it hard to camp near their group due to existing occupancy. Improved communication about vehicle requirements and campsite availability would enhance the experience.

I love this campsite but whoever was here before us left a ton of wood with nails all over in it! Not acceptable people need to do better!

Showed up on Sunday at 2:30pm to someone camped within 50ft of my post and no way to camp with our group anywhere near the site. Wasn’t able to get ahold of anyone to resolve the issue as they were closed. The road getting in was also extremely difficult. Watched many people get stuck. Beware that there is a possibility you may not get in. The road needs to be fixed and groomed. Just know, the sites are not easy to get to and there is no one there to monitor campsites and reservations. It’s more of a free for all.

Unfortunately we were not able to use this campsite as it was only accessible with a all-wheel-drive vehicle permitted for use in the sand. I drive an all-wheel-drive car, but was not able to get to the site and had to leave. It would great to have this more clear when booking!

Numbered site was on a hill , unable to park my toy hauler . Tried to park close to the area but was in the way of other riders so only stayed one day until I could relocate to another camp site. I would not camp there again.
