Tyee Campground offers a charming location along the Siltcoos River, making it ideal for kayaking with easy access to the lake and dunes. The campground is clean, well-kept, and quiet, providing a nice atmosphere for campers. However, some visitors noted issues such as proximity to Highway 101, limited bathroom facilities, and occasional noise from other campers. Overall, it's a great spot for those seeking a riverside camping experience.

Oh such a great little campsite, lots of privacy and many spots right on the river. There was a launch ramp for small boats for kayaks towards the back of the campsite, which is very convenient, had a lot of fun kayaking up the river and then out to the lake. Most campsites have tables and fire pits. Very clean and neat.

Very quiet, small campground, right on the Siltcoos river. Spaces are very small and close together. Space 8 and 9 should only be one space.

Quaint camp ground on the river. No Host currently. Clean and well kept. Great location. No bugs or critters.

Nice little campground right on the Siltcoose river. Easy launch for our kayaks. Campers were quiet but the road noise from Hwy 101 is there. Easy access to siltcoose lake and the dunes. Bathrooms could use more attention

Only 15 sites but, they still manage to be open to each other and the road. Little privacy. Highway 101 is very close with little buffer and traffic noise is constant. A lot of commercial trucks travel at night so no relief then either. There are apparently places to ride ATV's in the dunes close by because I could hear them all day too. I wanted to kayak but, the boat ramp is narrow and overgrown. OK for a small plastic kayak but too brutal for a nice one. Someone was in the site I reserved but wasn't around and with no camp host I had no alternative but to take a different, less desirable site. I reserved and paid for 2 nights but left after one night.

Our experience was great. The location on the river was fantastic for our kayaking. The fishermen in our group liked the proximity to the lake and dock less than a mile away. The only downside was the location so close to the highway and the noise (especially at night).

From Florence, OR, travel south on Highway 101 for six miles to Pacific Avenue. Turn left onto Pacific Avenue and travel approximately 100 ft. The campground entrance is located on the right (south) side of Pacific Avenue.
