Nice little campground right on the Siltcoose river. Easy launch for our kayaks. Campers were quiet but the road noise from Hwy 101 is there. Easy access to siltcoose lake and the dunes. Bathrooms could use more attention

Quaint camp ground on the river. No Host currently. Clean and well kept. Great location. No bugs or critters.

Very quiet, small campground, right on the Siltcoos river. Spaces are very small and close together. Space 8 and 9 should only be one space.

Oh such a great little campsite, lots of privacy and many spots right on the river. There was a launch ramp for small boats for kayaks towards the back of the campsite, which is very convenient, had a lot of fun kayaking up the river and then out to the lake. Most campsites have tables and fire pits. Very clean and neat.

Hit or miss I guess. We got bad neighbors who blasted music through the night and was dangerously intoxicated. No camp host to moderate. The water was shut off so no water. Camp site had some trash around when we got there. Booked the spot for two days and canceled the second night. Got lucky and stayed at the state park across the way. I probably won't ever go back but you might like it?

Tyee is great for launching kayaks to paddle the Siltcoos river there. Otherwise it's pretty minimal for a campground. Bring your own water.

From Florence, OR, travel south on Highway 101 for six miles to Pacific Avenue. Turn left onto Pacific Avenue and travel approximately 100 feet. The campground entrance is located on the right (south) side of Pacific Avenue.

General
- Guidelines for a safe visit to the Siuslaw National ForestThe Siuslaw’s campgrounds, day use areas, and trails continue to be open for public enjoyment. While you are visiting the Forest, please adhere to the following guidelines. These guidelines will help ensure a safe and healthy visit for you and your family, our employees and volunteers, and other visitors: Please keep in mind that restrooms are generally cleaned and disinfected at least once daily at the more popular campgrounds and day use sites, and once to three times a week at other sites.Be prepared to provide your own soap, sanitizer, or disinfectant.If no trash receptacle is provided, please protect your public lands by packing out your waste and trash.
- Forest Service-operated campsites on the Siuslaw National Forest are currently available by online reservation only. Visitors can make reservations online through this website (preferred), or via phone by calling the recreation.gov phone line at 877-444-6777. If you call this number, please be prepared for longer-than-usual wait times. Please note that the Siuslaw National Forest does not have any control over the recreation.gov phone line, so we ask you to please prepare by making reservations well in advance.
- There is a 14-day in 30 rolling days camping limit on the Siuslaw National Forest. The 14 days does not have to be consecutive. The 14-day limit covers the entire Siuslaw National Forest and not just this campground as shown in the Rules Section. This means you cannot go to other campgrounds on the Siuslaw National Forest after reaching the 14-day limit.
- No RV hookups provided
- Sites must occupied within first 24 hours of arrival time. Otherwise unoccupied sites will be considered a "no-show" and will be released.

- Don't Move Firewood: Please protect Pacific Northwest forests by preventing the spread of invasive species. Firewood can carry insects and diseases that can threaten the health of our western forests. You can make a difference by obtaining and burning your firewood near your camping destination. - Each campsite has a parking limit of 2 vehicles.
- On beaches designated for snowy plover nesting, certain activities are limited from March 15 through September 15. Read more about snowy plover management here.
- This campground is located in close proximity to multiple lakes and wetlands. Due to this, there can be an abundance of mosquitoes between the months of April and August. Please be prepared for this.
