Waxmyrtle has become one of our family’s favorite summer spots! Most sites are level enough for my elderly mother, shielded from view of passersby, and offers quite beautiful areas to go walking. The only downside is the lack of access to the beach. Looking forward to our next stay!

Nice quiet visit in early May, Snowy Plover restrictions kept us off the beaches with our Labradors.
Midweek lots of sites available and many more for the atv users, but plovers limited their use also.
Easy drives to Florence or Reedsport.
Seems like an older FS camp facility with flush toilets but no hook ups.

Beautiful campground, about a mile from the beach. Great little hike to get there. Views out over the lagoon toward the beach are really beautiful.
