Alot of non horse people tent camping. I don't think they are paying, as no employee came around checking on things. Went to use the showers up at the atv camp. Was told they closed at 2 in a rude manner. Mosquitoes were really bad from all the standing water. I grew up in this area and it's sad to see it get neglected.

No homeless taking sites, we were happy to see all horse people in the sites.
None of the 4 stalls were cleaned by the prior renters. I had to clean all 4 stalls !!! uggg
Most horse camps have wheel barrels to use, there was none, had to borrow one from another camper.
Love the camp and would love to come back next year.
thank you for all of the hard work.

It was great that ATVs, ORVs were not allowed in the campground, to scare the horses and bother the people.

The bathrooms were disgusting! Campsites were not clean. Stalls for horses caused damage to one of the horses. There should not be rocks in the stalls

One of the nicest horse camps I've stayed in. Water faucets are a short distance from all spots. Galvanized pipe corrals are in excellent condition. Footing in the stalls is level and easy to clean.
I do dispute that site #7 is suitable for 49 ft rigs. It is a bearcat to get into. I'm thinking 35 ft is more realistic.

I have camped at Wild Mare many times. It has been about 2 years since my last camping trip there. The weather was spectacular.. no bugs, no deep water to navigate, no wind, new trails, clean, quiet camp. Love this place.
