Susan Creek Campground is a well-maintained site along the North Umpqua River, offering clean facilities, hot showers, and a peaceful atmosphere that many campers love. The campground host, Paula, receives high praise for her friendliness and helpfulness. While some sites are close together and there are occasional maintenance issues, the overall experience, including access to swimming holes and beautiful scenery, makes it a favorite for many returning visitors.

Other than the difficulty in reserving a camp site, Susan Creek was the nicest place to stay. Craig told us where to drive to so we could get a internet signal so we could get a reservation. The phone was useless as we were just put on hold and an agent never answered. We will definently return, but we now know to reserve while we have an internet signal.

This campground has the best camp hosts ever. They are friendly and helpful. They keep the restrooms and showers spotless. They ensure the campsites are clean (and gravel raked!) before arrival.
My only friendly request is that the camp install recycling facilities for glass, plastic, and metal. It isn't far to town where all of those materials can go.

Ideal location to explore the region. Sites are compact but covered with fine gravel that helps to keep them clean even in the wet weather. Free showers available 24 hours. Cleanest restrooms and showers we see so far.
