This is the best campground on the North Umpqua River. The sites are level, spacious, and private, the hosts keep them clean and tidy, and the restrooms and showers are always clean, as well. There are multiple places to enjoy the river, and many of the camp sites have a river view. The no-see-ems were a bit annoying in the evening, but not enough to drive us inside. This is a reservation-only campground, yet there isn't sufficient cell service to book a spot at the campground. You can drive a few miles down river to get enough reception, so be sure to plan ahead.

Not only was the campsite super clean and well maintained ( thanks awesome camp hosts), but the proximity to the water and getting to go to sleep hearing that was awesome. Lots of little trails that go to different spots on the water. It was nice and private and well spaced sites, clean bathrooms and friendly campers. I’ll absolutely be back. If you run out of campfire or ice, Idleyld trading post is about 7-8 down the road and hitting up the susan creek falls is worth it..simple 1 mi hike round trip
