What Guests Are Saying
Susan Creek Campground is a well-maintained site along the North Umpqua River, offering clean facilities, hot showers, and a peaceful atmosphere that many campers love. The campground host, Paula, receives high praise for her friendliness and helpfulness. Although this trip was cancelled due to wildfires, the refund process was very friendly and fast! We look forward to staying here in the future! Stay safe.

Camp hosts were wonderful. Camp was clean and beautiful, despite last years fires… only wish the showers were open

I stayed here the last week in July 2021. I was shocked the BLM was permitting camp fires and actually selling wood. Daytime highs were in the mid 90's and the forest was extremely dry. No other government agencies in Oregon were permitting campground fires (Forest Service and State Parks) so why the BLM permits fires is irresponsible. I won't be going back until extreme fire danger passes. It's not safe while campfires are permitted.

N. Umpqua is beautiful. Swimming in the river was a treat. Campground was clean and peaceful in a beautiful setting. Didn’t understand why showers were not in operation. The only thing I would be careful about is picking casitas. Ours was opposite what a normal trailer campsite should be. But the beauty of this campground overshadowed it.
Hosts did a great job as campsites emptied.

- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
