As usual, we had the best time at Susan Creek. The camp host Paula is great! She is very helpful and keeps everything really clean and make sure all the kids are happy and have bubbles and chalk to play with. She is amazing.

We stayed in number four. It was perfect! They have hot showers, it’s super clean there. The host was very gracious and nice. And the river is absolutely beautiful.

The camp host was so kind, and helpful. The campground is beautiful and a great lactation to hike all the beautiful waterfalls nearby. The showers and bathrooms were clean and well kept up. The service with Verizon is spotty, one bar. The only downside was the poison oak around the camp and along the path from the campground to the day use. But as long as you stay on the path you’re fine!

We initially were really excited to arrive for our trip to Susan Creek, it all evaporated when we arrived to find campers from the night before still there. The camp host was really great, she was on it and tried everything she could to contact these people. Finally after waiting 5+ hours for them to return, it took them about 30 minutes to vacate our site. These thoughtless, selfish campers really threw a wet blanket on our weekend. Why do I tell you this story?? I understand that there's currently no penalty for the behavior of these people. I would like to see changes to this policy. Perhaps a $100 fine is in order for such behavior. I might add that this same thing happened at a State Park some years ago. However the park is beautiful, small, bathrooms and showers are clean and well maintained. We have upcoming dates reserved for this park, I will be holding my breath upon arrival that we will find out spot vacant and ready for us.

The grounds are beautiful and so are the facilities…if there was cell service and water hookups I would have rated excellent. We love it there and the current camp host is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met working as a camp host.

The campground host, Paula, makes the stay there that much more enjoyable. She makes sure that your site and the bathrooms are spotless and helps in a friendly manner with anything you need.
