Our third time camping here and it's always an absolutely lovely experience. The new host this year is wonderfully friendly and helpful, bathrooms and facilities were immaculately clean and cared for. This is such a special spot!

Great location and site. Clean. Loved the water features and raked gravel. Some of the best restrooms I've ever been to at a campsite. I swear there's a ghost cat that comes around at 3:00 in the morning because we heard it twice while there. Shined lights everywhere trying to find it but it wouldn't show up but kept meowing. Haha

My family and I have been camping at Susan creek campground for approximately 5 years now. In the same spot, it's typically clean. Well, cupped, beautiful, that's what keeps us coming back. Unfortunately, this year it was not. It was the worst year we've had. It was filthy. It was not well capped, the Camp Host is a crazy erratic Nut. The bathrooms were filthy half the time. There was no toilet paper, let alone there was not a single drop of soap in any of them. And no wood to be purchased. We are used to purchasing wood. If we knew that we would have brough an Axe and more of our own. I don't know what's going on here, but we paid to be there for the amenities, and because it is typucalled clean and cared for beyon measure, we absolutely did not get what we paid for. Very dissapointed.

The campsite we were at had plenty of privacy and space for our 10 person tent. The bathrooms and showers are much cleaner than we expected and were very happy with how well kept everything was as a whole. Definitely ready to go back to this campground. It’s also conveniently located on a highway with lots of waterfall trails, including one on the opposite side of the hwy (Susan Creek Falls). If you want to just stay on at the campground, all campers have access to the North Umpqua River from the campground which provides a nice and serene experience.

My favorite campground in Oregon. Falling asleep to the sound of the river. Potable water steps away. Restrooms always clean.

Site was easy to back into. Campground was busy, but not overly loud. No interaction with camp host, so nothing to comment there. No bugs.

Campground was green and beautiful and we loved listening to the river from our site. The grounds, including the bathrooms, were very clean and well-maintained. Nearby were a number of picturesque waterfalls we enjoyed seeing.
