Wonderful campsite! Nicely raked, clean bathrooms, just what we hoped for in location and privacy.

The campground is beautiful and excellently maintained, but the traffic noise from the highway across the river, plus the nighttime log trucks on the local road that borders the campground ruined the experience for us.

I showed up and used the provided wi-fi to pay for the one open campsite that night. Had to pay an $8 "reservation fee" even though obviously I was there without a reservation. Making payment for a site dependent on devices and internet out in the woods seems like a system that's both designed to fail, costs campers more, and is against the whole spirit of the place.
River is real pretty right here though, but there were signs about toxic algae in the pools around the rocks and dogs who had died from it.
Campsites are also real real close together.

Tent sites were beautifully raked and maintained. We left after 30 minutes because there were rats truly SURROUNDING our campsite and we couldn’t go five seconds without hearing them rustling around loudly. If you’re fine with that, no problems to report. I’m just a light and anxious sleeper and had never witnessed that many rats in one place.

We had campsite for 3 nights but only ended up staying one night only because it was so hot and my husband is disabled and had a hard time with the heat…But we enjoyed the campground site was clean, bathrooms were cleaned and smelled good considering they are vaulted toilets. We will be back for sure!

Kids had a blast. Easy river access. Very clean sites and restrooms. We will come back! Road noise was a bit loud in the morning, but the campground itself was very peaceful.
