The accomodations were okay, The water pressure was too high and we didn't have a regulator on our hose, so it blew out our water tank in our trailer. Just a heads up to others- and maybe faucets could be installed that regulate it somewhat, we noticed some do have faucets on them. But the one we were in does not. It was a big repair bill.
Water became unusable during our stay due to testing the park received. Not sure how this can be avoided in the future?
Winds probably always blow in this area, but one day of our 3 day stay they were extremely high and it made it impossible to do anything.
Very helpful and friendly camp hosts.

Cool campground next to the water. Site T3 has some shade from a large tree which is nice, though only partial coverage. Site has flush toilets and showers. Bring your own hand soap, there is some hand santizer available. It’s fairly windy, which is nice when it is hot out

we were in #3 my favorite space reserved 6 months in advance. after setting up on a very hot day i had just sat down to enjoy our first of 14 days and oh ya you already knew that the power was going to fail! My wife was not happy! no fans no AC. 100 pluss!
Ho by the way a coupled that the same problems. No juice. found a way to stay cool. They went to the swimming area and pulled grass for two days. Then there is the bath rooms the urinal not repaired just blocked off. And what about the sidewalk there? You guys can not afford cement 2nd year Just forms and its blocked off too..
I love going to Lepage Gate keepers are nice and so are most all of the workers.
All i can say is IF YOUR GOING TO DO IT DO IT RIGHT.
Like the people that pulled the grass from the swim area while they were on vacation.

- Camping limited to 14 days within a 30-consecutive day period.
- Trailers are required to have a tow vehicle available throughout duration of reservation. If renting a trailer through a separate company, please call John Day Ranger Office (541) 739-1135 for approval.
- RV sites are limited to one RV unit and one tent OR two tents. Tent sites are limited to two tents per site. Maximum occupancy of eight people per site.
- Rattlesnakes may be present; use caution.
- Pets are allowed and must be kept on a maximum 6ft leash at all times.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- Off-road vehicles not permitted
- STOP THE SPREAD OF INVASIVE SPECIES. Remove plants, seeds, animals, and mud from boots, gear, pets, and vehicles. Clean your gear before entering and leaving the recreation site. Stay on designated roads and trails, and follow local guidelines for firewood. CLEAN, DRAIN, DRY boats and any other recreational equipment that contacts water.
