What Guests Are Saying
Cedar Grove Campground offers a clean and picturesque setting with beautiful river access, making it a popular choice for groups and families. Many visitors appreciate the reservable sites, spacious areas for gatherings, and nearby hiking trails. However, the close proximity of campsites may not suit everyone, and some noted the bathrooms could use improvement. Overall, it is a great spot for camping, especially for those who enjoy a lively atmosphere.

Great campground! Nice sounds of the river behind it, clean, quiet. Somewhat close to the road but stayed Friday - Saturday and just a handful of cars passed by.

Site #1 was well equipped and had plenty of room. An ambitious group could fit 3-4 tents and even a couple hammocks there. Picnic tables seemed new. Only complaint is that there was some broken glass scattered around the site, but that’s only the fault of the a**holes who made the mess. Some other reviews said river access was ‘sketchy’ however there’s straight up a gravel path with nice stone steps all the way down to the shoreline. Water pump worked great, bathrooms on par. Site 1 is far removed from the rest which was very nice, however after taking a quick peek at the rest I could see how it could feel crowded and not very private if you were there during a busy week. The other sites are all very close to one another with little to no vegetation separating them. If you can’t get site 1 then I’d recommend only going during the middle of the week or slightly off season to avoid a crowd.

Was unable to camp due to the air quality being at 188. It was too Smokey to stay. Couldn't get a hold of recreation.gov to ask about a refund.

The campsites are extremely close together. Better for camping with other groups. And very small sites
Each site should be more inclusive with dimensions of area for tents of different sizes. Beautiful access to the river. The campsite, it was extremely clean. However, the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. I wish we had more options to camp of the corridor

We love going here and go at least twice a year. Not only is it close to home, it's right by the water. The camp sights are great and there really isn't that much traffic on the road next to the camp grounds
Not to mention there are trails close by to explore.

Loved this site!! It was quiet, remote, and relatively empty. Was a beautiful drive up to the site. Very little road noise - LOTS of river noise! :) Had the best sleep ever here. It was a little challenging to actually get down to the river.
