What a wonderful place. After a long Oregon road trip we happened upon this campground and had a delightful time. August weather, warm, we sat by the river all day reading and swimming.

The campsites at Three Bears Campground are large, clean, and well-maintained — a really nice setup overall. Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by the BLM worker on site, who was aggressive and rude despite us being polite and respectful. It’s a shame, because the campground itself is great.

The double site size was very spacious and we had a view of the river. Great little spot to cool off in the water, and there's a couple trails in the area. There didn't seem to be a host at the campground but the toilets stayed acceptably clean through the weekend and there was no litter issues.

We normally love this place and have a great time...but this time we were accused of having a party and being loud, when it was the people in the spots down from us. Just because we are young doesn't mean we cause problems. The grumpy old park ranger needs to get his facts straight before accusing people of causing issues.

Camp spots were great, for being walk in the parking lot was fairly close. Bathrooms were very iffy. Online said there was first come first serve, upon arriving there was a sign saying there was not first come first serve and to drive you to service and reserve a spot. Without any directions on where to reach service this was an hour plus task to find service. Considering there were over half spots not in use first come first serve would probably benefit the campground.

Great little campground! River is lovely. Toilets clean but a little ripe in the heat. Will come back for sure. No camp host.

Excellent camping spot! No service, short walk in (20 yards). I stayed in site 7 which was nice and close to the waterfall sounds.
