Generously sized double site with large picnic table and river access. The pit toilets were not stocked or cleaned while we were there over 4th of July weekend. I’d consider bringing a fold-up wagon to tote your things to this walk-up site — we did not but saw others who had an Ozark Trail one and were a bit envious!

our best site was close to the river where one can see and hear the flow of the water. The place is shaded and very pleasant. nearby access to the river makes it easy to experience the freezing water and enjoy it.

It was pouring on and off, and rge tent pad was a little "bowed" so a little water got in the tent. Overall, clean, natural as you can get, good fire spot, wood grill to the side, large table, no showers, vat toilets ypu have to walk to (we have a portable pitty that proved very useful). We were in #2 and fell ir was a little small for us and 2 kids (next time we will get a bigger site so they have more room to play. Theyre all different. Great neighbors during our stay. "Check in" didnt require anything g at all. Pull up and park, walk to your site and set up. There is a board out front with lots of info including the last vear sighting, what to do if tou spot one, what poison ivy looks like, reservation lists, etc. Overall we were very happy with our experience and will be coming back

What a wonderful place. After a long Oregon road trip we happened upon this campground and had a delightful time. August weather, warm, we sat by the river all day reading and swimming.

The campsites at Three Bears Campground are large, clean, and well-maintained — a really nice setup overall. Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by the BLM worker on site, who was aggressive and rude despite us being polite and respectful. It’s a shame, because the campground itself is great.
