The campsite on the Metolius is the most beautiful on this earth. I have been camping there for over 60 years. Unfortunately it is not taken care of like it was in the past. The tables are rotting in place. We have used our campfire wood to brace them in place to keep from injuring ourselves and the fire pits are not cleaned. It’s inexcusable!

It was beautiful and restrooms were clean and the campground was tidy. The host was around a lot so accessible if there were any issues, which luckily there weren't. I appreciated that the site was open due to the shutdown.

We come here annually. Great view of the river. Drawback is no running potable water.

Vaulted toilets were full and the smell was bad as soon as we got there on a Thursday..no toilet paper for first day and then some appeared. No camp host. Lots of spots where no one showed up and lots of people drove thru wanting them. No camp host to take off reserved signs... This campground is far away from store.

Long walk to site from parking. Large, flat site, could easily fit 2 or 3 tents. Not very private as trail passes on both sides. No water at campground. Bathrooms are very clean.

This was the best campground ever! Loved it. The first two days there was no toilet paper in the one toilet on our end of campground. We figured out where a water spigot was in the camp next door. My suggestion is to put up a poster saying where water is. We brought a lot but ran out. I love this place and will be back next summer for sure!!!
