We absolutely loved the camp hosts… Nick and Christina. And all of our years of camping I've never met such friendly people. They were like old friends that we hadn't seen in a while. Truly enjoyed our time at Camp Sherman Campground.

Several great camp grounds over a couple of miles. Large Pondarosa Pines with heavier coverage brush on many sites that back up to the river. Clean vault toilets with water available for buckets. Well maintained. NO POWER, NO Water spigots to fill campers so bring it with you. Lots of well marked river access trails. People hiking by drove our dogs nuts... they eventually settled. Camp Sherman Store was WELL stocked with upgraded basics. And was a great source of information about the area. Will be returning when in the area.

The picturesque setting beside the Metolius River is unforgettable! Also, Star-gazing is just the best!
The camp hosts were very helpful. There are restrooms which were very clean.

The first week was good. But the second week was not as good, because I was located right next to the camp host who was busy entertaining multiple guests throughout the weekend who were unruly with a lot of dogs barking.

A quiet location (except for the soothing sound of the Metolius river nearby) surrounded by gorgeous Ponderosa pine forest. Spacious, well-spaced sites. A fine trail to hike along the river on. A clear, star-spangled night sky. And only a few minutes from Sisters if a taste of civilization is wanted. Who could ask for more?
