Started out in site 20 but moved to 17. Site 20 was in close proximity to the latrine and smelled badly. 17 was incredible. We enjoyed our stay. Downsides: latrines were very low to the ground and smelled horrible; picnic tables were also low to the ground and in poor shape.

Our experience at Cold Springs Campground was even better than expected. It is just outside of Sisters, which is a busy visitor destination. We were in town for an evening folk concert, and Cold Springs was the perfect place to land with our friends. It is very quiet, and was only partially occupied on a Wednesday evening. The host is doing a great job keeping the restrooms clean and supplied and keeping the campsites in good shape.

Mostly very pleasant. Clean, quiet, peaceful, no bugs. Gorgeous ponderosa, great proximity to numerous recreational activities.

The outhouse on the west end severely needed pumping although the camp host washed it clean every morning.
