What Guests Are Saying
Indian Ford Campground offers easy access to Sisters and features large, clean, and quiet campsites among beautiful ponderosa pines. While some guests noted highway noise and dusty conditions, many appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and nearby hiking and biking trails. Although the bathrooms could be improved, the overall experience was positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Clean, quiet. Easy to book. Rustic outhouse. Close to Sisters. Pretty, amongst the ponderosas. Can hear highway traffic.

We loved our campsite, however it is very very dusty, not blaming that on the NPS just informing future visitors. The road noise was there but after a while it just sounds like water, at night it definitely dies down. The bathrooms were a mess and older so i don’t know if they don’t have the same ventilation as the newer ones but they stank.

Worked out great for us.
To bad there’s no water there.

2 things make Indian Ford a great spot. The proximity to downtown Sisters, and the Upper Loop MTB trail that starts at the campground. The camp host came over to say hi and chat a bit which I appreciated. This site is right off the HWY so you do see cars and hear them a little.

This was our second time coming here. It's beautiful. Really the only downsides are the highway noise and we were there for over a week and the vault toilet was never cleaned.

Worse campground ever! Dirty, dusty, and lots of in and out traffic and noise from the highway.

Stayed here in early June for the Oregon Gravel Series "Cascade Gravel Grinder" bike race. The location is a doubled edged sword in the way that it is super conveniently located right off hwy 20 but you can hear the cars. They did not keep me up at night and the noise wasn't terrible. My favorite part of this campground was a really cool hiking and biking trail system just across the entrance to the park. The trail system has outstanding views and is easy enough for the whole family to do but fun enough for the more serious cyclist to enjoy. I would stay here again, especially if I was there to enjoy the mountain biking and Sisters area.

Easy to book. Nice sized sites. My only issue was that the online booking site allowed adding additional people but not vehicles.
