Relaxing location with close proximity to Dee Wright Observatory and Sisters. A good stop over to venturing further into Central Oregon.

We have camped at this location for over 30 years, usually 2-3 times a year, this was the worst year we have ever seen. The two campground hosts were terrible! This past 5 day stay their off duty sign was out most of the time, I never once saw them clean the restrooms or pick up any trash. Very sad to see the service level reach this poor standard.

We really enjoyed the large campsite we had and the relaxed nature of the campground. It was a very nice place close to Sisters.

It’s a great little campground conveniently close to Sisters, OR. The bathrooms smell REALLY bad though. Like you can smell them a few campsites away if there’s a slight breeze. With so much open camping nearby in the area, hard to say if it’s worth it, unless you like having a toilet really close and like the comfort of strangers.

Large corner style lot. Next to creek with a makeshift bridge to access toilet easily.
The wasps were really active, especially if there was any food out. I’m not sure if it was like that throughout the whole campground or just our area. You can hear some traffic as it is right off the hwy and very close to Sisters. We could hear a big EDM “Rave” one night, must’ve been somewhere in the woods close by. Great place to camp when you don’t want to go far from town.

We were there for only one night but enjoyed the camp. Has clean privies and a cool hand powered water pump. nice stream running through campground. Would definitely stay again.

Decent campground, not a ton of tree cover between sites but decent amount of distance so that was nice. Sites are pretty good size with ample parking. Flush toilets and cold running water in the bathroom. Only complaint was the camp host wasn’t around most of the time the 3 nights we were there. Bathroom ran out of soap on day 1, toilet paper on day 2. Otherwise a good spot!
