The camp host was very thorough in keeping the camp and restroom quite clean. He observed Covid distancing when approaching which was kind also. The camp sites need some attention with leveling. The road into Driftwood also needs attention.

No reservations. This is a nightmare. Leave our campgrounds alone. Greed. Money hungry. Tons of empty sites. People don’t show up. This is a failure.

Beautiful campground, great store/boat rental. no garbage dumpster at the camp site was a huge pain.

I love this place. We had some loud neighbors this time around, but it happens. I was disappointed that there was no garbage cans available.

Don't be deterred by other's negative reviews. Three Creeks Lake is best in Late July to the first week of September, don't bother coming up any sooner or you will end up fighting cold weather and loads of bugs. It's a gem I've been coming to for 30 years.
Sites 9-18 are set on the hill side, they all have flat spots for tents but most won't accommodate very large tents. Our group stayed at sites 14 & 15 we had two 8 person tents that we were able to find flat stops to use, anything bigger wouldn't have worked.
While camping this late in the season we had very little Mosquito activity, we came with bug spray just in case and a few candles, nobody reported anything more than a big bite or two. Occasionally in the afternoon's we would have a swarm of mayfly's come along the shore, not a big deal since they don't harm anything or anyone. We found several tadpoles and even more frogs.
There is a camp host that makes the rounds everyday to check people in and make sure the toilets are services, they don't have a designated spot you just have to find them. He told us that if a site goes 48 hours without the reservation showing up he can resell the spot to someone new.
The little store across the lake has lots of supplies for anything you may have forgotten, however they are closed Tuesday & Wednesday.

Site #17 = Terrible overall. Camp site is not level, including the tent area. You park on the road and walk about 50 feet down a loose gravel / dirt trail to the actual site. By the time we got all our gear down to the site, much of it was covered in a strange little flying bugs that I've never seen before. We quickly setup the tent and got supplies inside to keep bugs away. Couldn't keep the bugs out of our spaghetti that evening. Then we realized the lake is waaaay down the embankment, so we didn't evened attempt to carry the kayaks down there. We ended up packing up the next morning and skipping the next day that we had reserved and paid for. I've never up and left a camp site before in my life, but this just wasn't what we were expecting. There appeared to be other sites that were much better laid out, on much more level ground, and closer to the lake.

- This is a no water facility so campers will need to bring their own supply.
- This campground is only suitable for tent camping since we cannot accommodate RVs or trailers.
- Prevent the spread of invasive species by inspecting and cleaning packs, equipment and tires before using lake or trails.
- Please Note: One vehicle per single site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. Extra vehicle will be charged a per night fee and collected at the campground.
- Fire Restrictions: Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed.
- During your time in Central Oregon, you can find wildfire, prescribed fire and smoke information at centraloregonfire.org
- Reserved Sites will be held until the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests. Once your reservation start date has begun, neither the Recreation.gov Contact Center nor the campground manager will be able to modify your reservation.
- Refunds: Refund requests made through www.recreation.gov will be charged a $10 processing fee. This fee is retained by the reservation service contractor along with the non-refundable reservation fee. All requests for the return of the non-refundable reservation fee and the cancellation fee will be declined by the campground concessionaire as they did not receive these fees (these are the fees retained by the reservation contractor, a different entity).
- Don't Move Firewood: Please protect Pacific Northwest forests by preventing the spread of invasive species. Firewood can carry insects and diseases that can threaten the health of our western forests. You can make a difference by obtaining and burning your firewood near your camping destination. - Camping or otherwise occupying a single location (including leaving camping equipment and/or related supplies) for a period longer than 14 consecutive calendar days is prohibited. ‘Location’ means the occupied area, the occupied campsite, and the National Forest System lands in the immediate vicinity thereof. Camping or occupying any location on all National Forest lands for more than 28 calendar days total during a calendar year is prohibited.
- NO generator use is allowed in campgrounds. Silent power banks or battery powered devices are allowed.
