Pine rest site was awesome. Great being next to the river. A bit chilly early AM first week of October.

I stayed one night in site 6. There's a short walk (50 ft?) into the site from the car parking spot. You can pitch a tent pretty close to the river and enjoy the sound of the water all night. There's no host in this campground, but the host from another nearby campground appears to check the outhouse, etc. It's tent only and my campground neighbors were very quiet. But one should note that there are several cabins/homes on the opposite side of the river which may produce some light and noise into the late evening as they sit out on decks talking facing the river or getting in and out of cars. None of that went super late and all was quiet by about 10 p.m. All the sites are on the river. 1 and 7 are pretty close to the road, but the road was not that busy.

Lovely location. We were right near the bathrooms and it seems they were only cleaned once while we were there, which was pretty smelly. Otherwise this area is one of our favorite spots
