Beautiful setting. Sites clean. Outhouses need desperately to be pumped. Nasty.

Vault toilets are clean and in good order. Every site in the campground offers plenty of space and privacy. Each time I have been there it has been quiet with friendly campers in the campground.
There is no cellphone service (which I prefer, this is where I can get away from the noise of the world). SOS connection is available. It appeared that the host may have had Starlink connection.

We love the Metolius area. It is a most beautiful river and hiking trails on both sides of the river. This campground is spacious and the restrooms were kept clean! We were in site #16 which I reserved as a pull through for our 30' trailer camper. It was a tight spot to pull out of due to a tree which made the turn too sharp so we ended up backing out of the site. Also this site is right across from the pit toilet so at times, if the wind was blowing our direction, you got the fumes. Most of the time though you didn't notice them. The site description says riverfront. You can not see the river from this site due to the vegetation and distance from the river. The site is big though so if you have pets there is lots of room for them.
