not enough notice about seasonal water turnoff.
Campfire ring nearly 3/4 full with ash and soaking wet-made it difficult to safely use it.

Paul the Camp Host was the best, he was helpful, available, friendly and knowledgeable, best camp host ever. The vault toliets were as clean and well supplied as they could be but they were still vault toliets, disgusting. Hand sanitizer would have been nice. Camp sites were fine, but the lack of hook ups was more of a problem than we thought it would be.

Paul the Camp Host was the best, he was helpful, available, friendly and knowledgeable, best camp host ever. The vault toliets were as clean and well supplied as they could be but they were still vault toliets, disgusting. Hand sanitizer would have been nice. Camp sites were fine, but the lack of hook ups was more of a problem than we thought it would be.

The Metolius is always beautiful and serene all by itself. We included a Mckenzie highway trip in our stay and enjoyed the river, lakes and lookout point viewing all the central Oregon mountains.
