We always enjoy the Camp Sherman area, even if the weather is not cooperative. Campsite was clean, camp host friendly, the area is quiet and very schenic.

Smiling River is a beautiful campground. Dry camping, most sites are well separated from other sites, beautiful river, lovely trail along both sides of the river, 3.5 miles down-stream is a fish hatchery well worth seeing. one+ mile up-stream is the Camp Sherman store and a great Mexican restaurant "Hola".

The campground is being well maintained. I am a tent camper and fortunately both site on either side of me were tenting too so it was very quiet. The river-adjacent sites can't be beat!
