Clean, quiet campground. Site was a nice size and right on the river. We love camping at the Metolius. Have done so many times and will be back for sure.

We typically go camping 4 times during the summer months and Smiling River is my personal favorite place to camp. It is always clean, quiet and peaceful, even during the busy summer months.

This site is really close to the bathroom which was quite smelly. Close to the water but no view. River trail goes right by the site.

What an awesome campground! We had a site right next to the Metolius and a short walk from the bathrooms. The location is great, with the river trail making it very easy to walk the 1.3 mi to the Camp Sherman Store.
