What Guests Are Saying
South Shore Campground at Suttle Lake is cherished by many visitors for its beautiful scenery, spacious campsites, and family-friendly atmosphere. Campers enjoy the lake for swimming, hiking, and fishing, with many returning year after year. However, concerns about road conditions, restroom cleanliness, and pest issues like yellow jackets have been noted, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance and facilities.

My daughter, husband and I enjoyed the beauty and serenity of East Lake so much that I'm hesitant to write too good a review about it as part of the beauty was the lack of humans present. Not that I don't love my fellow beings, but the quiet time spent at East Lake without the usual sounds of humans being humans was absolutely divine. There was kayaking, hiking, bird watching, reading, gazing, napping and all kinds of other deliciously time wasting activities to be had at this location. We will absolutely be back and promise not to bring all of our friends ;-).

Nice campground. Nice walk around the lake. Sites aren’t too close. Handy for hiking and Sisters activities.

Stayed in site #3 - it's pretty exposed to other campers but has a nice view of the lake. There are couple nice isolated campsites I'll try and get next time (5, 16, and 20 stand out).

Beautiful spot right on the lake with a trail that goes all the way around. Would definitely come back to this campground!
