Our trailer site was so unlevel - side to side and front to back- that it interfered with our sleep and housekeeping activities. Illegal camp fires were common; our site had considerable litter. Only give two stars because the toilets were immaculate and low odor.

The campground itself is pretty nice. The day use people is a different story. The amount of people who show up for the day is unbelievable for the size of the lake. They gotta be a bunch of California transplants that moved to bend. The lack of common sense by the hoard of people is astonishing, they can’t park, they can’t drive, they can’t watch their kids etc. it’s really a nice little lake but if we go again we won’t be going on a weekend.

we reserved #11 for 2 nights but when we got there found that we would have to park our vanogaon on the road and then it was a pretty step hike up to the area with the picnic table and fire ring. They provide a little driveway for your car if you were tent camping but if you're in an RV or van the incline wouldn't be possible. We noticed the site next to us was available for our first night. We found the camp hosts at another campsite and asked about changing for the night. They were soooo helpful. It was a short time before they came by to give us revised car tags and update the site reservation and also told us that another site was going to be available the next day. The took care of it all - very easy - best camp hosts EVER! and we do a lot of camping.

Many years ago sites #6 and #7 were one drive-through site. At some point the site was divided into two very close sites. The passenger side of our 21 foot trailer in site 6 was less than 3 feet from the back side (drivers side) of the travel trailer in site 7. Luckily we got along great, and neither of us used generators and we met to discuss the tight living situation.
Also, if you have a travel trailer in site 6 you will find, that like several other sites in Three Creeks Lake CG, (including sites 5, 4 and others) the picnic table is on the wrong side (drivers side) of the site. This is an old CG designed for tents that was modified to create more sites (and revenue). Get suppies and Greg water before arrival. The “camp store “ was not open on the 4 days that we were camping. (Monday through Thursday) and there is no water available at the CG.
In late August/early September you may wish to bring 4 - 5 Yellow Jacket traps. The contractor did not supply them. We purchased 4 at BiMart in the town of Sisters upon the recommendation of the campground contractor after a child was stung in nearby site and we were unable to eat outdoors at our site.

Policies & Rules
General
- This is a no water facility so campers will need to bring their own supply.
- Prevent the spread of invasive species by inspecting and cleaning packs, equipment and tires before using lake or trails.
- Please Note: One RV with tow vehicle per single site or one vehicle per tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. Extra vehicle will be charged a per night fee and collected at the campground.
- Fire Restrictions: Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed.
- During your time in Central Oregon, you can find wildfire, prescribed fire and smoke information at centraloregonfire.org
- Reserved Sites will be held until check out time (NOON) the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests. Once your reservation start date has begun, neither the Recreation.gov Contact Center nor the campground manager will be able to modify your reservation.
- Refunds: Refund requests made through www.recreation.gov will be charged a $10 processing fee. This fee is retained by the reservation service contractor along with the non-refundable reservation fee. All requests for the return of the non-refundable reservation fee and the cancellation fee will be declined by the campground concessionaire as they did not receive these fees (these are the fees retained by the reservation contractor, a different entity).

- Camping or otherwise occupying a single location (including leaving camping equipment and/or related supplies) for a period longer than 14 consecutive calendar days is prohibited. ‘Location’ means the occupied area, the occupied campsite, and the National Forest System lands in the immediate vicinity thereof. Camping or occupying any location on all National Forest lands for more than 28 calendar days total during a calendar year is prohibited.
- NO generator use is allowed in campgrounds between 10:00PM and 7:00AM (36 CFR 261.10). Silent power banks or battery powered devices are allowed.
