Awesome outpost with a modern, spacious, friendly log cabin store at the perfect spot for motorcycle riders out exploring the area.

I just hate leaving this review so much! We’ve camped here in the cabins three years in a row and I have to report that they’ve gone downhill quite a bit. We tried to use our oven the first night and quickly learned that the knobs are all loose and falling off. We thought it was turned off but little did we know that propane was leaking out during the night. At 1:15 am the CO2 alarm started going off in the cabin. We were so startled that we flew out of bed. We tried to air out the cabin as much as we can. I was sick due to the effects of the carbon monoxide. Once we were able to get it all cleared, we thought we could go back to bed. It wasn’t fixed! The alarm went off again about 5 hours later!! Once again we jumped up and at least we knew what it was this time. We ended up having to turn the propane off outside the cabin. Thankfully they had an alarm because we would’ve died in our sleep that night. It was very scary!! In the morning we went up to the store to tell someone but it fell on deaf ears. She called someone who never responded even though this was an emergency. We stayed for 4 days and no one ever came to speak to us. It’s very scary that we could’ve died and they didn’t care! The CO2 alarm was ripped out of the wall in our bedroom so thankfully we left the bedroom door open when we slept!! We are frustrated with the overall condition of the cabins now, especially since they just raised the nightly prices. The chair in the bedroom had rips in the vinyl, the dining table felt like it would fall off its base at any moment, and we weren’t able to use the kitchen at all! The grounds used to be nicely mowed and kept up, but it wasn’t mowed so the clover grew and brought a ton of bees with it. The bouncy house finally died and they haven’t replaced it yet so there’s basically nothing for kids to do now. Overall the quality has dropped but the prices went up. We had a yearly trip that we might not make anymore. It’s very sad!

We were just passing through on our motorcycles but this place was great. They have a little general store/ hot deli/ grill that serves up some good grub. The location is gorgeous and right on the river. I plan on coming back to camp

Really enjoyed our weekend on the Trask. This is a very nice rv park that has long-term renters, nightly rentals, cabins and even a tiny house for rent. Friendly staff at the on-sight store where you can grab a meal or coffee, too. Very pretty and right on the water. Only complaints - never any TP in the bathrooms, showers cost 5.00 for ten minutes and don't drain well so there is very little are of the shower that is dry. They ran out of several items in the store (waiting for a delivery). That said they are clearly working on fixing up the place and we would definitely stay there again.

I don't know why this CG doesn't have many reviews. It was a nice quiet stay with gorgeous views of the river behind our rv. We stayed in the middle of the week and basically had the place to ourselves. It is a CG with long stay residents on one end of the park but they don't interfere with the overnighter like you see in so many other parks. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
