Nice, quiet campground. Large sites with electric. Shower house was a nice size. The regular restroom I used the most had a water leak that needed fixing. Nice other than the water leak.

Brought a Federation of North-American Explorers Troop to camp here before and after and trip on the Allegheny.
Nice campsite, specifically the Group Camp. Decent area for hammocking. Plenty of picnic tables and a great large fire pit. Access to river for boys to swim or fish! Close to very nice restrooms.

Loved my site, privacy is excellent. Power went down several times on their end, first time that happened. No wood available at the entrance. Handicap shower was locked for all 10 days we were there. My husband had hip replacement and the bench in regular has never been replaced. Men's bathroom in the electric part was clogged a multitude of days.

The campground was very clean and well maintained. We have stayed there multiple times and have never been disappointed. The campground is within a couple of miles distance from various hiking areas like "Jakes Rocks" and the Allegheny river basin. We would not have a problem camping there again.

Take PA-6 to PA-62 South. Take the first right onto National Forge Road, then the first left into the campground. If coming up PA-62 from the south, cross the Allegheny River north of Tidioute and take the first left onto National Forge Road, then the first left into the campground.
Buckaloons is accessible via PA-6 and PA-62. PA-62 runs south from the area and connects to other regional roads.
