What Guests Are Saying
Buckaloons campground offers a beautiful, clean, and spacious environment with large campsites and well-maintained restrooms. Visitors appreciate the friendly hosts and the peaceful atmosphere, with access to outdoor activities like canoeing and kayaking. Some minor issues, such as limited hot water in showers and a need for maintenance on picnic tables and fire pits, were noted, but overall, guests enjoyed their stay and plan to return.

love the campground & campsites,,,however, the bathrooms/ showers were really gross. showerhead was broken & "fixed" with duct tape. which did NOT fix the problem & was not able to adjust water temp. we have been camping here for several years and have noticed a gradual decline in the overall condition of campground. unfortunately, we will not be back next year. Allegheny site management needs to do better

Beautiful camp ground as well as having the facilities located in convenient spots around the grounds. Trail is nice to walk on a beautiful day. We have a great time every time we stay at Buckaloons!

We stay at the group site every year for our annual kayak trip. We go in May because the creeks are usually high and this is a central location. It’s also right off the Allegheny River so you can launch upstream and take out at camp. The facilities all well maintained but could definitely use an upgrade. I like that the group site has easy access to water and an outhouse. The only thing we don’t like is there is no access to electricity at the group site. So make sure you pack plenty of power banks. Lots of wildlife, and beautiful scenery.
