What Guests Are Saying
Buckaloons campground offers a beautiful, clean, and spacious environment with large campsites and well-maintained restrooms. Visitors appreciate the friendly hosts and the peaceful atmosphere, with access to outdoor activities like canoeing and kayaking. Some minor issues, such as limited hot water in showers and a need for maintenance on picnic tables and fire pits, were noted, but overall, guests enjoyed their stay and plan to return.

Tim the host was very friendly and helped us with any problem we had. The first night the electric went out (weather related) and he let us know it would be out for a while. There was a few unruly campers and he handled it professionally and quickly with no further problems for the rest of our stay.

Facility wise it was great. It was heavy rains so we cut our trip short a day because it rained so hard we had water in our tent. The spot was nice but wish there were some more gravel or something because it was a big mud pit but we will be definitely be back. One thing is that it would be nice if there was a place for tents and a place for campers.

Though we appreciate the challenge shade trees give to such a beautiful property it would be better if the campsites could be graveled or a greater effort made to grow grass i~ the muddy conditions probably will prohibit us from camping again at this park when rain is forecast. Otherwise it is a beautiful campground with friendly staff.

Campground and host wonderful but need to add stone and grade sites so water goes away from sites.
Many sites are flooded and have been wet all season, not just during a storm.
