What Guests Are Saying
Buckaloons campground offers a beautiful, clean, and spacious environment with large campsites and well-maintained restrooms. Visitors appreciate the friendly hosts and the peaceful atmosphere, with access to outdoor activities like canoeing and kayaking. Some minor issues, such as limited hot water in showers and a need for maintenance on picnic tables and fire pits, were noted, but overall, guests enjoyed their stay and plan to return.

Kayaked from Kinzua Dam to here Sept 15 2020 and stayed at 61. The boat ramp is the only way to haul your yak to the campsites, and it is quite steep. The sites 59, 60, and 61 are located close to the ramp - maybe 200ft or so, and are lined up close to each other with not much separation or privacy. But they are clean with picnic tables and fire rings, but no electric.
Toilet is very close and clean. Water same. Short walk to buy firewood from the camp host and to deposit trash.
Sites are about 20 ft above river level so you are not on the water. These sites are close to the group camping area, so check this out before you go. Overall a good place to camp on a multi-day river trip.
