Kiasutha campground offers a beautiful natural setting with spacious campsites and friendly, helpful staff, making it a favorite among repeat visitors. Many families appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, access to water activities, and the well-maintained grounds, despite some concerns about noise from other campers. However, there are ongoing issues with restroom facilities and campground roads that need attention to enhance the overall experience.

We just loved it. We could pull
Our boat up to
Shore and the kids played at waters edge. Kinzua is a treasure to behold.

We have been coming to Kiasutha campground for close to 40 years with our kids and now our kids want to come camping with us. It’s a beautiful spot. However, it seems to have become a place for people to come and party. We had to go to the host a couple times to have them talk to people that were way too loud after 10 o’clock. There was even a party that lasted until 4 AM. We come here for peace and quiet. We actually had the non-electric site down below this year for the first time and thought that it would be peaceful, but it wasn’t. Please inform the hosts that they need to regulate the noise after 10 PM. Even before 10 PM we should not have to listen to other people’s music played too loud.
Driving around to make sure that people are following the rules out of respect for others on the property. Also, I’m not sure if there is a funding problem but when the park tore up the roads and concrete to put in electric for the electric sites, they did not properly put any concrete back down. Last year when we came and it rained quite a bit, we were camping in mud in the electric site up above.

First off let me say we have been camping here for 35 plus years! The staff that are hired by Allegheny Site Managment have been very friendly and keep the place as clean as possible. The sites are large and nicely spaced with many being pull through although they could use some gravel. After 10 plus years of waiting they finally got all of the allotted electric sites up and working. The campgrounds roads are horrible; the roads that are hard surface have potholes and the dirt roads need graded. The bath house is in very poor condition. The men's room had 3 showers, two of which worked and only one toilet which was out of order! The woman's side had three showers, only two that worked. Only one toilet but it worked fine. Another men's room had only one toilet, and it leaked from the base and stunk up the place. The boat launch is very nice and easily accessible. It would be nice to have some spots for kayakers to park. In spite of all these shortcomings we love this campground and enjoy coming back each year.
