Red Bridge Campground is a beloved spot for many campers, praised for its beautiful surroundings, spacious and clean sites, and attentive hosts. Visitors enjoy the proximity to fun local activities, hiking trails, and clean facilities, making it an ideal place for a relaxed getaway. Some concerns include noise from loud music and generators, as well as issues with reservation management and accessibility to the shoreline, but overall, guests look forward to returning.

The campsite was fine and well located. It was a bit buggy. More importantly, the camp host was dis-interested in us and almost downright rude when we asked for a map of the area. Never came around or made any other contact with us. Compared to most hosts, he was terrible.

Site was okay but pretty muddy. Bathrooms were clean and adequate. Showers are the annoying type where you have to keep pressing a button, but they were warm. There did not really seem to be anyone in charge. I could not find anywhere to check in aside from a self-pay station for walk-in type arrivals. Since I had registered and paid online, I found my name was on the site so I just went there and set up. I'm still not sure if that was correct but nobody said anything. I also could not find firewood for sale that is listed on the amenities, but there's a store selling it about a mile or two south on 321. People on the next site over were partying with music and loud talking until 2:30 AM, making it impossible to sleep. Unfortunately this made the experience miserable. I only stopped here for the night as a place to make dinner/breakfast, sleep and shower on a longer trip so I could head home the next day refreshed. I ended up driving 4 hours home even more tired than I had been the day before. I wish I could have had the quiet and peaceful experience mentioned in other reviews.

The Feds should extend electricity to all sites

Very nice campground and hoist is great. But all sites are in need of some lime stone. When it rains it is very muddy. You would think with as busy as camping is now they could spend some money. Also the concert vault toilets are in need of being pumped out. (They were bad for years).

Beautiful location & very peaceful. Our campsite was up off the road and very private. Bathrooms and showers were also clean.

Campsites need to be mowed and new gravel should be added to the campsites. We love Red Bridge it just needs some work!!!

Site 22 was pretty muddy after a rain storm. Switched to site 31, which was in much better condition. Other than the mud, this is a very enjoyable campground. Very quiet.

My experience was GREAT! The only bad thing I can say is our stay wasn't long enough.
