Main showers were nice, bathrooms where ok. Only issue we had was with noises campers who did not obey quit hours. Partying and carrying on late at night. Not good for families to try to sleep

Not the campgrounds fault but we lost power from a storm and didn't have electricity for over 3/4 of our trip, I was hoping for some type of refund, even partial for the days we didn't have electricity, but nothing offered. Very disappointed

We paid for 2 nights but because of all the random people coming down to our campsite we left.

Generator hours are 6 am to 10 pm, if you plan on sleeping in a tent I wouldn’t recommend this place. The generators ran all night long, worst camping experience I’ve had in a long time. We will not be coming back to Red Bridge again.

Campgrounds were pretty well maintained, restrooms are clean. The campground host however was nasty and seemed to enjoy giving us a hard time. She was very unpleasant and threatened us with having to leave if we didn't turn off our generator after 10. My generator is quiet and can barely be heard at 50 feet. We had an infant and 2 toddlers with us so keeping the camper cool at night during 90 degree weather was necessary but she continued to insist we had to shut it off. This was Sunday and Monday - come Thursday several other hard shell campers pulled in around us and every last one of them had a generator running all night. We also discovered this was a courtesy, not a law. Previous stays at Kiasutha were never an issue running the generator all night. We will think twice about staying at Red Bridge again.

Site 35 was great. It's up on a hill from the parking drive, and has trees surrounding it on nearly all sides, so it feels very private and secluded!
The deep fire pit is nice for not getting smoke in your face, but it does make cooking on the coals difficult (I definitely burned myself a couple times on the metal sides). There was plenty of kindling to be foraged, and the picnic table was large and sturdy.
The camping space is huge - our two tents barely took up a third of it.
There's a little path down to the river at the campground, and there's a nice view of the river and the valley. We went down at night to see the stars - I would highly recommend it!
The camp hosts were very nice and kept everything clean and stocked. There was plenty of ice and firewood for purchase.
Vault toilets were as expected. The proper bathrooms were clean, slightly chilly in the mornings. One of the shower heads had extremely high pressure so it didn't make for a good experience (didn't try any others).
There are plenty of water spouts around (non-potable).
The campground is a 5-10 minute drive from a Dollar General, and about a 20 minute drive from the closest marina to rent boats.

Overall, had a great time!

In our week stay, we lost power 4 times for periods of 8 hours or more during the heat wave. When the power goes out they lock up the bath houses. Not sure of the reason why but it takes a shelter away if it storms. No upgrades at all in the 20 + years we have been going to that area. No tree maintenance for the sites. Ours had several trees that needed dropped. Great place to go if it was maintained. Where does the money go?
