Our first time at Red Bridge, we visited there earlier to pick out a nice site. We liked site 3. Some weeks later we reserved this site. We showed up for our stay at 2 pm only to find it occupied with a trailer and motorcycles. We contacted the host and she confirmed our reservation and she would have asked the party to leave but they were not there and she said she new who it was and they would be at least 2 hours before they return. The host offered us another site which we had no choice but to take. Our reservation was site 3, 8/2- 8/5 which was marked at the site with our name on it. The hoist said that when the party returned she would have them removed. It never happened. When the party returned to site 3, i had a talk with them to tell them what i thought. He said the hoist never asked him to leave because we found another spot.

I arrived 1.5 hours early and was told to leave. I traveled with a refrigerator full of food and wanted to get hooked up to electric, so I went to another campground close by. They welcomed me early so I stayed there instead. The host at Red Bridge was rude and belligerent. I will never book a stay at Red Bridge again.

The park is kept clean and that's always a plus. It's deep in the woods and we enjoy the wild life that is there. Much thanks to the hosts at the camp.

Site 59 was a perfect spot for us as tent campers seeking seclusion and direct water access. It’s a little walk from the car but it’s such lovely site. Campground was peaceful and bathhouse was clean. We would definitely return.

This is a beautiful area, but unfortunately poorly managed by a concessionaire. I was there 7 nights but never saw the host. I could hear loud music coming from their site and saw plenty of ads for firewood, ice and souvenirs. Bath houses are old and not cleaned regularly. Same overflowing garbage for days in bathhouse. Showers do not have temperature control.
My site 38 was FHU, but was not level and had holes where water pooled after rain creating a muddy mess.
Note: Access pass holders do not receive 50% off on site cost because it’s managed by concession.
