What Guests Are Saying
Tracy Ridge is a great destination for friends or groups seeking a quiet, private outdoor experience, with well-maintained trails and mostly private campsites. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, especially at night, and have returned for years. However, amenities are limited, with no potable water or showers on-site, requiring a short drive for modern facilities.

Great campground, clean restrooms (low on toilet paper), relatively quiet. Never saw a camp host in 4 days. Left on Tuesday after Labor Day. Walked around Labor Day (Monday) putting out several smoldering fires left in fire pits in loop B.

There was no water at our loop, we had to drive to Loop E to get it. There was no warning of this either and we had to depend on other campers to figure out what to do.
The camp site was pretty clean, just half a dozen eggs left in the brush

A true gem in Allegheny. People who appreciate nature and how to preserve it and the wildlife frequent here which is nice. Hopefully it stays that way.

First time user, campsites nicely spaced. Hiking trail with optional loops near by. Happy to see staff had our site reserved with a tag, name and date.

Nice and quiet campgrounds! We enjoyed our 10 day stay. I’m sad to see only a few loops open, but I assume most campers are staying at Red Bridge or Willow Bay nowadays. Be sure to keep the campsite clean! We had a black bear visit our site on day 2. He made out with our lockable dry goods bin and managed to break into it after about 3 hours of rolling it around!
Would definitely return here, overall it’s a great campground away from the crowds but close enough to the reservoir.

This review has nothing to do with the quality of the park, etc. We love it there. It just dumped torrential rains on us, the wood purchased locally was "green" and would not light (even with generous soaking in lighter fluid) and the trails were washed out in places. Nevertheless, we WILL be back!

More trash containers would be nice. We are there for enjoying the nature, but some people are a little bit to noisy, but at least they respect the quiet time. But we don’t think it is necessary to hear laud music and screaming the hole day.

Your water is nothing but rust, the dump tank was full and we had to drive everywhere to get ours empty, and you are infested with tent caterpillars, they are so bad they are dropping from the trees.
