Booked cabin # 94 and tent site #95. Had easy access to load/unload, and a quick walk up the trail to the restrooms. Water access was great, shared "beach area" with site # 97.
Beautiful campground all around, good size sites. Cabins are basic, but more than 1 should need while camping. Beds, an electrical outlet, and windows allow the breeze to flow through. With enough room to lock coolers inside at night. I love the relaxed environment this place provides, I believe because most people take their "rules" into consideration, there is no need for host to be going around badgering people. BUT when a place says pets must be leashed, that is for the safety of your dog as well as others. It is not responsible to leave your pets wandering through the campground/other sites. Not all dogs are friendly with other pets, and that leaves those owners on high alert to keep their animals safe. All animals should be welcomed to camp without fear. It is on the owner to have a handle on their pets. We ultimately did not have any issues, but please be mindful when you let your animals run loose.

A quiet retreat, clean cabin, rustic and small but just as advertised! Lovely getaway for our family. Kids loved discovering tadpoles in the lake and roasting marshmallows by the fire, and watching fireflies light up the night sky.

I’ve lost track of how many time we’ve stayed in a cabin, think we might be frequent flyers. The stays are always different in some way, always positive and leaving us looking forward to the next. My family and I are very thankful to have Willow Bay and all that it offers.
