Nice family campground. Quiet and laid back atmosphere. Only complaint is mowing is not kept up as in years past

We've been there many times and always enjoyed the stay. The hardware store, gas station, grocery store, and dollar store are so convenient! Riding bikes and watching the bikers and fishermen/women is also entertaining! However, our last visit was a bit unenjoyable due to the loud and obnoxious family group next to us. No respect for others camping nearby! We will be back and just hope that that family is not!! You have a great camping are!

Two bicycles were stolen the week I was there. I learned it from he people who had them stolen. No one was warning campers to lock their bikes. I asked the Corp ranger and she confirmed it but tried to play it down. Other than that it was a good experience.

My group of tent campers initially reserved camping spots near the shower/bath house for convenience. However, once we arrived, we were told we needed to set up our tents on the gravel surface and not any grassy area nearby. What? Who wants to sleep on gravel? We were then offered to set up on a grassy lot across the parking lot away from the bath/shower house. We decided that was better for tent camping and walking across the parking lot to get to the shower house was the trade-off. Just know if your tent camping it may not be what your expecting. We mostly saw RV's in the camping lot.

Great campground with clean and spacious sites, close access to the bike trail and the lake. We will be back again!

Water in campground was red stain (probably iron). The reservation process does not make getting the weekend between two weeks easy to reserve. There are too few full hookups and 50 amps sites.
