Campsites are well maintained and the fire-pit/grill & picnic table are really nice to have. One plus I would rather not have proven out is how well the sites drain. We had a lot of rain the night we stayed but, as stated, we stayed nice and dry in our tents and it was obvious the following morning that no puddles formed.

I was bikepacking down the GAP on my way to DC & stopped by here. The hiker/biker area isn't especially large, but can probably support 8 tents or so if I recall correctly. There's a fire pit w/ a grill top, a couple tables and bike rack. I had a pleasant experience, and the awesome volunteer host showed me where the spot was and checked me in. I felt safe the entire time.

Biked the GAP Trail and used the hiker/biker site. Hot showers, flush toilets, potable water and close to town.

Lack of electric in the tenting area for cell phones and electric bikes. If electric is needed for a tenters, the only option is rent a regular space which usually has no easy water access and darn near impossible to drive a tent stake in. And no tenting on the spot of grass allowed.

Relaxing campsite alongside the Youghiogheny River. We enjoyed camping with our dogs, going kayaking (there's a small boat ramp at the camp), bike riding, exploring, and relaxing. The camp is fairly open, with well maintained facilities and easy access to Ohiopyle just a few miles down the river.
