What Guests Are Saying
Outflow Camping is a well-maintained and clean campground located next to the river, offering large, flat sites and easy access to the Great Allegheny Passage bike trail, making it ideal for biking and fishing enthusiasts. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and the scenic surroundings, which include nearby attractions like Fallingwater and Ohiopyle. While some campers noted issues with gravel tent pads and the need for advanced reservations, the overall experience is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Low on crowds. Bit on chilly side so beach was mostly a no go. Amazing weather for fishing, biking, kayaking, relaxing, etc. Lucky Dog and Suders/Outflow had awesome weekly options and never disappoint. The Outflow and site were clean and nice, as always. Due to COVID-19, we mostly didn't use public facilities (although they seemed well cleaned and maintained still) and playground was closed to wisely help prevent spread. Weather was pretty good except for a few hard (and cool) summer showers. The Stonehouse Butchers and Provisions on Route 40 towards Uniontown is a fantastic stop to pick up amazing meat for the trip, highly recommended!

I missed the playground not open but understand it had to be shut down. Our SC grandchildren were with us and they wanted to play on it. Our youngest is 4 and she doesn’t understand

Stayed here while biking the GAP. Arrived near dark and got camp setup. Peaceful location and near local eateries. Will stay again on future trail rides and fishing trips.

Great location! Right off the bike trail, and fishing is right there. Price is reasonable, But there are very few full hookup sites.
The nearby town is slower paced and less crowded then Ohio Pyle.

This state park campground is in an amazing location for campers, fishing, kayakers, white water rafters, boaters, hikers, bicyclists, tourists, and the list goes on and on. It's a great central location for all the aforementioned things and more. This campground is well kept and is not crowded. It does get filled up on major holidays but your RV awning or your dining canopy isn't smack up against your neighbors equipment. You don't feel like sardines. If your family has never seen the actual beginning of a river, then this is a great place to see one. I am 64 years old and have been coming here all my life. The cost still fits the wallet very well and the beauty remains the same. If you run out of anything, not to worry. The town of Confluence, Pa. is just across the river.

I enjoyed a clean, comfortable, peaceful stay at Outflow. I had my bicycle and bicycled the GAP trail northwest to Ohiopyle one day an southeast to Meyersdale the other day. It helped tremendously that the weather was absolutely perfect for late October, sunny and in the 70's. Also there was a nice Harvest festival in the town of Confluence. I recommend this campground.
