Deer Run Camping Resort

We stayed in one of the cozy cabins for the 1st ever Christmas weekend on 12/18–12/21/25. The cabin was heated, we had a comfy bed, and we managed to stay warm even though it was super cold & windy, (we brought a small electric heater.) Bathrooms were heated, a short walk away, but the kind staff at Deer Run brought us all complementary golf carts to use! We decorated the cabin with festive Christmas lights, (prizes were awarded,) had fun & played bingo and other games with our camper friends. Then everyone shared in a Christmas pot luck. The kind, amazing staff treated us to festive Christmas music with Drew Cook and a few beverages to go with the holiday theme. We all enjoyed our stay together this weekend despite the cold temps! Deer Run Campground, this was a FUN idea for camper friends to participate in and stay in touch through the off season! Thank You! Merry Christmas & a Bright, Happy, healthy New Year to you all!❤️🌟

Staff at deer run Camping resort are very friendly and helpful. They have activities every weekend and are very enjoyable. Great place to take your family. Just recently camped again at the campground for a Halloween weekend. My husband and I had fun handing out candy to the children. Bingo was a blast. We are looking forward to next season. If you are close or far, this is the place to go.

Love Deer Run! Have been there many times and will continue going back. Loved our site #78. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Plenty of fun stuff for the kids to do at no added cost. Halloween weekend was a ton of fun as well. Campground is clean, well maintained, safe and doesn’t have 4 pages of rules like some campgrounds do.

We moved our group of six campers to Deer Run this year for Halloween Weekend, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience! We loved having our campsites directly across from each other—it made everything more convenient and fun. Our site was spacious and fit our camper perfectly.

We really appreciated the quiet, less congested atmosphere of the campground. One of the best parts was that golf carts and cars weren’t allowed to drive around during trick-or-treating—it made the event feel much safer and more enjoyable for everyone.

The amenities were a big hit with our group! We spent time on the pickleball court, shuffleboard, and basketball court. While we didn’t participate in Spooky Bingo, it sounded like a blast and was clearly a fun addition for families.

We’re already looking forward to coming back next Halloween—and hopefully making a trip during the summer too!

My family had a glamp site. First time ever staying in one and it was beyond what we even expected. It was clean and ready to go and very spacious. Plenty of shade and in a beautiful spot close to rest rooms and showers that were kept clean. We enjoyed the fall metal fest and all of our camping neighbors were friendly. My 2 year old granddaughter had a blast dancing around and playing at the playground and looking at the ducks by the beautiful pond. The camp store staff were friendly and helpful at answering any questions we had about our stay. We truly enjoyed it and will definitely make it back again in the spring or summer for a larger family trip to enjoy the pool and do some hiking next year.
