Shenango Rec Area Campground offers beautiful, well-maintained sites with stunning views and excellent facilities, including immaculate bathrooms and friendly staff. Many campers appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, family-friendly activities, and opportunities for wildlife watching. However, some concerns were raised regarding muddy sites, the presence of skunks, and uneven terrain in certain areas.

You must make reservations online as you’re not able to do it in person at this park which I see as a major inconvenience. If I didn’t have a smartphone with me with decent internet access we wouldn’t have been able to stay. Please make in-person reservations possible again! Thank you! Other than that- had a great stay- the bathrooms are really nice and clean and the sites were well maintained. Loved being right on the water.

I absolutely love this location to camp at, especially if you can get one of the lakefront sites.
