Shangri-La by The Lake

Nice large spots. Bathhouse definitely needs some upgrading. The pool was cold at the end of July because the temperature got cooler at night. They had a solar cover for it but didn't use it. They need more chairs around the pool also.

We just returned from a long weekend camping here and it was awesome. The people running it were so nice and helpful with a great attitude every time we stopped in store or office. We have camped all over pa and will definitely be back here again soon. The area is so nice and all the people so friendly if your looking for a campground near pymatuning I can not recommend this campground enough.....

I read some bad reviews about this campground but I sincerely don’t understand how anyone couldn’t love this place. Everyone was so kind and so nice. Not a single person passed us without a wave, a hello, or a nice conversation. The kids at the pool were so respectful and well behaved. Carols Kitchen was great and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. We unfortunately, were not able to bring our motorhome on this trip so we booked the Rustic Cabin 2. It’s super cute inside (in the midst of being full updated) twin over twin bunk plus an additional twin bed on one side of the cabin and a futon on the other side with a tv and kitchenette (fridge, microwave, coffee maker). Bathhouse is right across from the cabin for any bathroom/shower needs. Our dogs loved the dog park and we caught quite a few fish at the catch and release pond. We will absolutely be back! Highly recommend!

We have been lucky enough to attain a permanent campsite here (there was only 4 left) 2 years ago, this will be our third season. Having been here only a short time, I can attest to the pride and determination Joe and Betty,(the owners), have in maintaining and upgrading the campground to a first class family facility. The numerous activities and continual upgrades are geared not only towards the adults, but also for the children and combination of both.
Joe and Betty are kind and caring owners as well as the manager (Val) and campground staff. Friendship and family values are at the top of Shangri-LAs priorities. I have enjoyed my stay here for the last 2 years and hope to be able to return in the future.

Nice place to camp, kids having a good time. But Its just a shame the covid shut the pool down for this summer
